MULTICHOICE Nigeria has revealed that the DStv All-
Stars jump ball would hold at the University of Lagos
(UNILAG)'s Sports Hall, Akoka, Yaba on Saturday,
September 14 with some of the best local players in the
game and artistes available to thrill basketball lovers.
The jump ball event is part of activities to cap the DStv
Premier Basketball League 2012/2013 season, which
ended recently and to appreciate loyal subscribers on its
platforms as the company commemorates 20 years of
operation in the country.
Martin Mabutho, General Manager, Marketing and
Sales, MultiChoice Nigeria, said: "The All-star jump ball
is a competition among the best players from the Atlantic
and Savannah conferences of the DStv Premier
Basketball League, which is sponsored by MultiChoice.
"The event is to celebrate MultiChoice's 20 years of
keeping families together through quality programming
and content on its platforms."
He disclosed that major attractions at the event would
include celebrity basketball challenge, entertainment and
music by Channel O and Beat FM (media partner),
coverage by SuperSport for live and delayed broadcast
and coverage by 53 Extra for lifestyle/magazine style
broadcast on the DStv platform.
He added: "Guests at the event will be thrilled with
performances by Olamide, Burna Boy and other top
entertainers.
DATE; Saturday the 14th of september 2013.
VENUE; the UNILAG sports Hall
TIME; 2PM Prompt, No african-man time.
"Other highlights of the jump ball are: Three-point
competition, slam dunk competition, celebrity challenge
by stars from Nollywood, TV and the music industry as
well as product giveaway and prizes to basketball fans."

event is free.
